- I found this Youtube video while scrolling on Facebook. #powerful #followyourdreams #nevertoolate #onelife
- Found this artists' site through Pinterest. Her work is amazing! I wish I had a couple grand to purchase a piece. #shefollowedherdreams #makingthatmoney #followyourheart
- I've always used Kat Von D's liquid eyeliner, but I'm interested in trying MAC's #fluidlineeyeliner. Any reviews?
- I've officially started Whole 30 as of yesterday. #FML #Ihatediets #Equallyhatecardio #gottaloseapantsize
- Anyone watching "The People vs. O.J Simpson" TV show on FX? Just confess already! It's like the Netflix show, "Making a Murderer". Did he do it or did he not? I hate the suspense. #admityoureguilty
- I watched a video about how mistreated dairy cows are. They're continuously impregnated to stimulate lactation. They're so overly milked that they're utters become swollen with knots and nodules. They're used for about five years before they're bodies give out or they reach year five and are killed for meat. #sad #kindofwanttoboycottdairy #freerangecows
- Going on Day 2 of Whole 30 and I'm craving sugar. Kicking these cravings to the curb is always the hardest part! I'm drinking lemon green tea to help with my sweet cravings.

That video!!! So powerful!!!! Isn't it true, our regrets are usually the things that we don't do. Ugh dont get me started on the way cows and other animals are treated for our consumption. I have been consuming organic dairy for years because I don't want the milk of a cow that has been treated like that. Do you know how much bleach and stuff they have to use to make the milk look like "milk" after a cow has been over milked? *shudders*
ReplyDeleteYou can totally rock Whole 30!!! If I can do it, ANYONE can do it!!! The sugar cravings will go away in about a week just hang strong!
I hate reading about cow treatment :( Makes me feel really awful. I don't drink milk (I like almond milk) but I do have an affinity for yogurt. Ugh. I want to watch the OJ show!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Whole 30! I am always so impressed when people do it! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with whole30! Good news, it will help you to lose weight without the cardio, although keep the cardio going if you can. I wish I could have worked out during my whole30 but the dang injury set me back. Day 2-5 are hard, but once you get through those it will get so much easier!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your fun weekend with friends and family couldn't have come at a better time since you started Whole30 when you got back! I don't think that I would have been able to give up everything, but stick to it and I bet that the 30 days will be over before you know it!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea about the cows. That's so terrible! :(
ReplyDeleteJW is just starting the Whole30 today - we heard that the first few days are the hardest. Good luck! (Found you through the What's New With You linkup!)

ReplyDeleteLove that video! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis video is great! I kind of feel like I wouldn't be here where I am now if I could change something... so I guess I don't have any regrets. Though I look back and wish I was a nicer little kid sometimes! It's so hard for me to deal with animal stuff.. :( It's all so sad. But it's definitely hard to obstain from absolutely everything as far as food, clothing, etc. goes... #thestruggleisreal Good luck with the Whole30! XO - Alexandra
